“Chainsaw” Pinot Grigio
Rodeos have long been a popular competition & spectator sport in Australia but were not run on an organised basis until the 1880’s. Chainsaw was one of Australia’s most famous bucking bulls. During his career, only 9 contestants managed to score on him by riding for more than 8 seconds. Chainsaw won the Australian National title of Bull of the Year, a world record 8 times between 1987 & 1994.
This dry, gentle straw-coloured wine is light, yet pleasingly tart with softening hints of green melon, honey and herbs. The finish is clean and crisp.
